It was so much fun seeing my WildFlowers on the floor (You and Suzan); and it was def a subdued kick-off to Dore Alley weekend. Great review + very fair + and all good points. Security was a bit tighter than I thought it would be. However, I understand that the liquor license can be pulled at the EndUp if anything goes down. On the flip side, no one got hurt, or 'fell out' or anything like that. So thanks to the staff for looking out for those of us who got a little messy. Music was great, boys were super hot and it was just a fun, easy way to start teh weekend.

I hope I see you again soon at GHETTODISCO... I got a bag full of beats with your name on them.

Although it was a fun event and there were many details to enjoy, I feel there could have been less energy put into decorations and much more put into other portions of the event. That includes a simpler, focused marketing campaign that would have brought in better crowds and a less chaotic performance that was more of a distraction than a highlight of the evening as it should have been.

Lots of "juicy" details in the review! I'm curious tho: why did this event only rank 3.5 bottles?

you sound like a barrel of fun. I actually only found your post because I'm trying to find exactly which songs they were cause the FOUR of them flowed together so well. you didn't even stay until they gave you "the kick to raise your spirits!" seriously if you actually made it to fourteenth street from the VIP section at the far end of the pier then you must have started walking as soon as the fireworks started.

the song choice for the fireworks was brilliant. crescendos aren't just about uptempo, they're also about contrast. the first song slowed everyone down, had us all enjoy the fireworks, and then brought us all the way back up until we reached the finale.
