The ER-20 Hi-Fidelity Ear Plug

This is a re-post of a previous Public Service Announcement (PSA) from The Juice Box. After a few weekends of hitting a variety of events, I am still amazed at how many people do not provide themselves any type of hearing protection. Remember, you only get your hearing once – if you loose it you will not grow it back. So here you go, reposting a former PSA on hearing protection.

At The Juice Box we firmly believe in harm reduction in all forms and functions, so protecting your hearing is just as important as staying hydrated, alert, and on top of your game. It always amazes me when I am out dancing how many club goers never use ear plugs or protect their hearing, and we all know that sometimes that volume in the club can get pretty loud and oppressive. So, please protect your hearing, you can not get it back when it is gone.

Here is a stylish and great way to protect your precious hearing using the ER-20 Hi-Fidelity Ear Plug. These ear plugs are great, comfortable, and easy to use, and last for a long time, reducing the overall decibel level of noise in the club, allowing you to hear the music and people talking to you, and protect your hearing. I am very thankful that my friend Pei introduced these to me – I never go dancing without them now.

These ear plugs are available at the Earplug Store on line, come in a variety of colors and you can buy them as singles or bulk purchase. They also include a nice soft plastic case to store them in. So take a few minutes, spend a few dollars, and save your hearing for your life time, you can never get it back.

Thanks Jim. I totally agree. I took a set of these out with me last night to see Shpongle, who’s music can go from soft and subtle to loud and driving. I was able to clearly hear all the music and talk to friends. Leaving the venue, I didn’t any ringing of the ears.

Now, what can we do about the hoarse throat from all of the shouting and screaming? Refraining from shouting and screaming is not an option.

Thanx for this info’ & the no-nonsense talk about it. I’m now going to wear them, having not used them in the past. I just ordered the ones you recommended to try them out.
