This past week, The Saint At Large announced the DJ Line up for RITES XXXI: THE BLACK PARTY.

The annual party in New York held at the Vernal Equinox will be on Saturday, March 20, 2010 from 10:00PM, until Sunday afternoon, March 21, at Roseland Ballroom (239 52nd Street, New York, NY).

This year the DJ’s include: Hector Fonseca, Paulo and Ana Paula. The potential of this line up is great for delivering the mix of music this party really deserves.  I am excited to see The Saint At Large bring in this great talent.  Encore performances for the party will be provided by Rich King and Gustavo.

If you have never been to the Black Party in New York, I have two words – DO IT!  Book your trip now and make a weekend out of it.  The Black Party boasts a line up that includes… Strange Live Acts, a hot and diverse crowd (age, type, interest and gender), and is actually a lot of fun (for a party billed as a bit darker and heavy). Dress code is encouraged to be heavy, leather, and fantastic, but I encourage you to take a couple things to wear, fresh shoes and socks to change into midway through the long party and if you are out for the very long haul some sweat pants or shorts, and please do not forget your sun glasses.  It is amazing to step out to a Sunday morning in New York city and watch the people heading to church and the tourists in the bright spring sun, as you emerge from a dark sexy caver of dance and frisky play all night long.

The Saint At Large has tickets on line at their web site and offers a VIP Package again this year.  I was rather disappointed with the VIP package last year and the confusion over VIP entry, but maybe in this next attempt they will improve that process, seeing as they claim it gives you access to VIP balcony, express entrance/coat check, gift bags, special performances.
