When I arrived at Slims it was packed with hot sweaty bears on the dance floor. What makes this event different from the others is the rock and electronic music team of Richard Morel and Bob Mould. They know how to get the crowd dancing and believe me it didn’t take long for me to start moving my feet to the beats.

I socialized briefly with DJ Ted Eiel and a few friends that I recognized. I heard some Prince and Depeche Mode thrown into the mix but otherwise most I had never heard before. It was refreshing to hear something different and to be around men of all shapes and sizes. I really enjoyed my hour and a half there and would love to attend the next.
