The Juice Box

I don’t know about you, but I am looking forward to the warmer weather and some fun parties that are coming up this year.  So, for all of you advance planners, start watching for some travel deals, because it looks like some great line-ups at a few events.  These would be party of a great spring circuit tour for this year.  I know that I am working to arrange and re-arrange my schedule to try and get to at least one or two of these.

Rites XXXI: The Black Party New York – March 20, 2010

This is the big east coast fetish and leather party held on the vernal equinox as the rites of spring and a celebration of hedonism, sexuality and lots of fun.  Don’t let the dark nature of this party scare you, it is usually a lot of fun and big hit with the east coast crowd.  So grab a cheap flight from wherever you are and plan for a weekend in New York. Tickets go on sale February 12, 2010 and the DJs should be announced soon.

Alegria XTreme 10 New York - March 21, 2010

If you do head to town for the Black Party do not miss this version of Alegria.  This party is held the day after Black Party and provides another 12 hours plus of dancing to music that DJ Abel only seems to spin for the Alegria parties.  Heck, if you want, go to New York and skip the Black Party and just hit Alegria XTreme 10.

Easter Weekend in London – April 2-5, 2010

A perfect time to head to London and take in a little of that clubbing experience. Big dance events happening all over the club scene with, but do not fly home on Monday, hold your flight until Tuesday so you can experience my personal favorite; the opportunity to get into the RVT for two nights in a row with the Sunday SLAGS and the Monday Chill Out parties, featuring personal friend and favorite DJ Andy Almighty and the Dame Edna Experience.  Add in a little touch of Fire, Beyond, and others, and you have a fantastic weekend with some great boys in the big UK.  It’s just a hop across the pond after all and you can recover on the flight home.

White Party Palm Springs – April 9 to 12, 2010

A brand new line up of great talent makes the White Party Palm Springs into a world class event for 2010, and certainly one not to be missed this year. The Freemasons, Chus and Ceballos, and Moto Blanco are just part of the all star line up for the weekend, including DJ’s Manny Lehman, Wayne G, Abel, Tony Moran, Brett Henrichsen, ChiChi LaRue, Scotty Thomson and Luke Johnstone.  With this much talent under one event umbrella you can certainly count one of the best White Party Palms Springs weekends ever.  Additionally, the Wyndham is now the Renaissance Hotel and is said to be completely remodeled and fresh with improvements.  The White Party T-Dance, one of the best outdoor T-dances on the circuit today, is moving to a new location, right across the street from the convention center, promising a larger space, more rides and the traditional Ferris Wheel and fireworks. If you make it down to Palm Springs for nothing else, make sure you hit the T-Dance for sure. This year the White Party Palm Springs looks like it will write a new chapter in the book for this event and that chapter is going to be full of fun, talent, and great memories.
