Here we go, it’s Thanksgiving weekend, and if you are traveling there are plenty of things to do all around the country. For the warm weather lovers and the East Coast, Miami plays host to the White Party, and one of these year’s before I get too old to look good in white, I need to get down there to check this party out. If you are staying on the West Coast, but not in San Francisco, Palm Springs will host the Lazy Bear Holiday and a chance for flirt with the bears in the warmth of Palm Springs, and it looks like a few members of the San Francisco crowd will be venturing down to the events in the springs along with DJ Craig Gaibler.

Now, if you are in town and ready to get some groove on in San Francisco we have plenty of local opportunities to have some fun. Start the weekend off with the first chance to work off that Turkey at the End Up, where the weekend line up can keep you moving all through the holiday time. Additionally we have the return of Blowoff to Slim’s for a night of drinking, cruising and dancing to some great house sounds, and for a little more of the traditional dance scene, head over to the AEF Bare Chest Calendar Fundraiser at Industry at Mighty with DJ Russ Rich and my friend and favorite, DJ Luke Johnstone. And if you are not in a dancing mood just yet, there is one of those great holiday traditions at the Castro Theater this weekend, as the Sing-A-Long Sound of Music returns for a a few performances. So just a few opportunities to burn off that turkey dinner from Thursday then wrap it all up, put a bow on it and stick under the Christmas tree, because December is just around the corner.
