Labor Day Weekend in San Francisco (090409)
Posted 3-Sep-2009 to CalendarLabor Day signals the end to summer in many parts of the country as pools close, summer houses are shuttered, and students return to school. San Francisco can be a bit of a ghost town for Labor Day as half of the city seems to pack up and head up to Nevada for Burning Man while others just seem to find points elsewhere to spend the final big weekend of the summer. However, this is hardly the end of the high party season in San Francisco, in fact we seem to just start to slip it into higher gear as we party on through to the end of September with Leather Week and Folsom Street fair and to a quiet close with the first weekend in October and the Castro Street Fair. So, if you are in town, get out there and juice up your night life!
