The Juice Box

Continuing the evolution of my blog leads me to more changes in the way I present information to all of you. What started as a presentation of events that I was planning to attend, has grown and morphed into a compilation of dance and party events going on in and around San Francisco. I would love to say that I will make it to every event I publish, but reality checks in with me and I know that there is only so much juice to go around. I will continue to work on my formula, adjusting and modifying information over the next few weeks of months and would love your input on what you see. Gus Presents Underworld**

DJ Rob Kaftan and DJ Kevin Lee will be on deck for a great night of drop your pants and dance action at Space 550 on Barneveld Street. Space 550 is a bit out of the way, and best accessible by car or taxi, but be aware that getting a taxi home can be a challenge. The Underworld parties are fun events and no one should be afraid of the thoughts of dancing around in your underwear, after all you probably do it at home all the time. The Gus crew will make it very easy to check your clothes when you arrive and help you get in the spirit. The heat will be turned up to make sure you are warm, and before you know you will be surrounded by hundreds of party goers doing the same thing as you. Barneveld is also a great place for flaggers, fanners and poi spinners, with the large stage that can accommodate 4 or more spinners at a time and is usually bathed in plenty of black light. So, drop your pants and dance this weekend at Underworld.

H.O.M**

This is a new party in San Francisco, replacing the legendary and very fun Matinee party, which was retired last year. I have not yet been to Infusion Lounge and I am looking forward to seeing this space and what it has to offer and especially love the fact that this space is easily accessible from MUNI and other transportation. I have also been listening to a CD from the musical talents of the team of Moto Blanco and I can tell you that this should be a fun event, with happy, bouncy, fun music that really fits what I want a T-Dance to be. This is Moto Blanco’s first U.S. appearance and it should not be missed. Be sure to come out and check out this new T-Dance experience and some wonderful music, and help make H.O.M. a new hit in San Francisco. One other note, I also understand that VIP table and bottle service is offered at this club, so if you have a birthday get your friends to splurge on a table/bottle service and live up the VIP lifestyle at this club. Great Music + Cool Space + You = all the fun a weekend needs!

Frank Wild take the decks at the after-hours part at Club Eight following H.O.M. This is a fun little party in a great space and add to that the sexy music of Frank Wild and it should be the perfect cap to a great evening out. While yours truly will not make it out this late, for those of you that sleep in on Monday’s go check it out for a “wild” time, I am sure you will not be disappointed.
