The Juice Box

Wow, what a weekend it was here in San Francisco. Pride was a great time for all in this city.

It was especially exciting for me because I was able to have a good friend, Ken, visiting from Seattle and staying with us at the house for the weekend. This gave us the fun getting ready and attending many of the local parties and events. Additionally, I worked with a good friend from Dallas, Phillip, in preparing a group to perform with Glow Stick Flags at the Underworld, Colossus and Sanctuary dance parties that weekend. The performances were amazing, with great crowd reaction at all of the events. We had 6 guys perform at the Underworld Party, 15 at the Colossus event, and 6 at the Sanctuary dance.

Sunday, John and Ken and I spent a lot of time at the fairy village area, listening to some great music. I was able to flag to music I rarely get to hear in a dance club and that made for a really wonderful experience. We also met up with Dan and Phillip at the dance area for a little while before we escaped over to the Tantra dance stage to hear a favorite DJ of ours, KJ, spin up a storm and then headed home.

Now that Pride is over it is time to start focusing on Dore Alley weekend and a performance with ForePlay Flaggers as well as my 41st birthday on Monday, the 30th. Soon after that is will be preparations for Burning Man and then we will be off to the playa for a week. So much going on during this summer.
